Hatha Yoga
Hatha Yoga is a combination of body postures (Asanas) and breathing exercises (Pranayama). You alternate between different Asanas and then synchronize breathing and movement. The powerful holding of an Asana is followed by a phase of relaxation. Through the alternation of tension and relaxation, you reduce stress, strengthen your entire musculature, improve your flexibility and sense of balance, and can especially counteract and prevent back and neck pain.
